Wooohooooo... I need more stars, what a session!

Got to the beach and found Chris overpowered with his 12m kite and Neil busily changing kites. The wind was only around 20 knots but seemed to be picking up so I rigged my wave board and 5m. Sure enough it did fill in and I was perfectly powered up. Chris packed up as he was now overpowered and had already been out underpowered earlier with his smaller kite. Neil also packed up and the wind kept filling in, hitting around 30 knots later and the sea got rougher and rougher.

I tried a few forward loops but all were pretty untidy. I also had some massive jumps off the big vertical faces out the bacl, along with a few bone=shattering landings. I then went for a fully commited back loop, at full speed I hit a totally vertical 6 foot ramp and just went for it. It was all a bit disorientating but I did make it around I think, but didn't rerally land it! I also had some really good wave rides and at times seemed to be flying down the face of some pretty steep waves for ages.

At one point my GPS showed a max speed of 40 knots but I didn't believe it so reset it. I then managed to get a max speed of 25.8 knots, unitl on one run I once again bailed out mid forward loop as I got whipped around and again my GPS showed 36.2 knots.... I makes sense now and it just goes to show what sort of speed you get catapulted around at mid forward loop!!!... No wonder the bad landings feel pretty hard.

All in all a pretty much perfect session.
